Marlow | Natural Light Newborn Photographer | Richardson

I always love photographing this family. To see how much they have grown and changed in the past few years is amazing!! For this particular shoot, we decided to use a park in Richardson to capture this growing clan. As a natural light newborn photographer, I decided that this was the perfect setting. This lovely little family has just welcomed their first little gal into their family of boys. To say the momma is thrilled is an understatement! Bring on the bows! We dressed sweet little Marlow up in some precious lace and tiny bows to add to the girlie vibe of this shoot. As I arrived for the photo session, I could see that the Mom was a little frazzled. She was worried that Marlow wouldn’t cooperate because she hadn’t been sleeping well. However, because of the warmth of a summer sunset shoot, she slept like a dream the entire time! We also did a ton of shots where she was being held to help her really get nice and relaxed. When preparing for your own newborn’s session, be sure to understand that newborns are often unpredictable! But with the right set of circumstances, we were able to calm this little gal with a few special techniques that were thought out to suit her needs. If you’re shooting indoors (even in the summer) it’s a good idea to actually turn up the heat a little to make baby sleep more soundly!
